I’m Alexandra, a multilingual freelance location sound recordist, sound editor and re-recording mixer based in Toronto, ON, where I build stories out of sound. Sound is my passion and my creative medium. With a background in chemical engineering and piano, I pair analytical problem-solving with a musician’s intuition.

Notable projects include the feature film BlackBerry, the CBC gem series Bestest Day Ever with My Best Friend, and the Radio Canada series 11h11. My work has intersected with award-winning teams (including Canadian Screen Awards recognition around BlackBerry) and audience favourite titles like We Will Be Brave.

What clients appreciate most is my bright, collaborative energy and clear communication. On set, I am calm, friendly, and meticulous, providing clean lavs with minimal rustle while helping busy production days proceed. In post, I shape dialogue and design sonic details that move and immerse.
